differing results when downloading built in measurements

Hi,

A few months ago I downloaded the built-in IPv6 CHAOS TXT hostname.bind measurements for all 13 root servers for timestamps 1757768400-1757772000.

Yesterday I downloaded the same data again and got slightly different results - namely, my new download includes probe ID 11690, while the old download did not.

My current setup relies on the assumption that downloading with the same URL will always yield the same result. Is this expected behaviour? Does anyone know anything about this?

Hi, in general you should not get less results when you query at a later point in time. Getting more, like you point out in this case, is possible: that probe probably woke up, connected, and delivered the results it collected earlier, so now they are part of the total set.
