RIPE-NCC github ipv6-security-lab

Searching the github repo RIPE NCC I found this laboratory, I share it on the forum in case there are more interested in carrying out more laboratories on IPv6

This repo GitHub - RIPE-NCC/ipv6-workshop-tools is quite old I will see if it has data that can be reused

Greetings!

Hi,

the IPv6 security lab is part of our IPv6 Security e-learning course on the RIPE NCC Academy. I would recommend to start there, as running just the lab environment without the accompanying learning modules will probably not be that useful.

Hello @Ondrej thank you very much for the information, it is very helpful!

Query, is there a RIPE github repository with example IPv6 networks? organized perhaps by size type; small, medium, large, ISP?

It would be interesting to have a practical starting point, to be able to carry out testing laboratories, according to the needs that one has and to increase them over time.
It seems that we all start by inventing the wheel, when starting to plan the transition to IPv6, at least that is the perspective I have for the moment. I hope I’m not being rude, that’s not my intention at any time.

I don’t know if the above can be feasible in any way or it is simply not a good idea.

The idea is that information can be reused, not start from scratch at any time, that we do not have to solve the problems that other users / companies solve again, on the contrary, we can solve new problems that arise with the time we save by having topics already resolved and that are public with completely free licenses (GNU GPL for example?).

We can even deploy in less time, I have even automate the deployments, using code for the different infrastructures, whether physical, by code or both.

Thank you very much, greetings!

Hello again,

I don’t think there will be a ready-made IPv6 network lab suitable for testing your network because every network is different and has different needs regarding labs.

I can only recommend open source projects out there which allows you to create a lab based on your needs:
