Leo Vegoda has posted some interesting questions on the RIPE List on the future of email discussion lists.
Leo asks if e-mail discussion lists are a sustainable communication channel for the foreseeable future? And are e-mail discussion lists an acceptable technology to people joining the industry?
Some people have mentioned the irony of asking these questions on an email discussion list. So I’d be interested to hear on this non-email channel if people have thoughts.
Also, it would be nice if you don’t normally join email discussions to join the conversation there and let people know why. Give email a go. And equally, if you normally use email, maybe give the forum a go and see how it works for you…
