Dear Ripe community members,
My name is Mike, and I am currently a student working on my graduation research project in the field of internet infrastructure and network intelligence.
Over the next six months, I am conducting a study focused on developing and testing tooling to determine and verify datacenter locations based on IP addresses and ASNs.
The goal of my research is to improve open-source methods for identifying physical infrastructure footprints and to better understand how network topology data can reveal datacenter presence and clustering
To carry out my experiments (using traceroutes, latency measurements, and probe cerrelation across different ASNs), I would greatly appreciate donations of RIPE Atlas credits.
These credits will allow me to run a broader and more accurate set of measurements for my analysis.
If you have spare credits available, your contribution would be greatly appreciated and direct support this research effort.
You can share credits to the following RIPE Atlas Account: ripe_ncc@tuta.io
All results will be documented transparently and shared with the community once the study is completed.
Thank you very much for supporting students and open internet measurement research!
Kind regards,
Mike Sylock
