IP Geolocation Issues Affecting CapCut Template Access on My Website

I’m running a website that provides CapCut templates and resources for video editing enthusiasts. Recently, I’ve started receiving complaints from users in certain regions that they’re unable to access or download templates hosted on my website. After some investigation, I suspect the issue is related to IP geolocation and network routing.

Here are the key problems I’m facing:

  1. Region-Specific Access Issues: Users in specific regions (e.g., Southeast Asia and parts of South America) are unable to access the hosted template files, even though the server itself is online and working fine for other regions. Could this be due to network routing problems or geolocation blocks?
  2. Latency and Download Speeds: Some users report extremely slow download speeds for template files. My website uses a CDN to serve static assets, but it seems the CDN is not effectively routing traffic for CapCut resources in certain regions.
  3. IPv6 Compatibility: My server supports both IPv4 and IPv6, but I’ve noticed that some users on IPv6 networks are unable to load template previews or download files. Could this be a misconfiguration on my end, or is there a compatibility issue with CapCut-related files?
  4. Traceroute Anomalies: Running traceroute tests from affected regions shows unusual delays and packet loss at specific hops. I’m not sure if this is an issue with my hosting provider, the CDN, or something else entirely.

What I’ve Tried:

  • Verified server settings to ensure all IP ranges (IPv4 and IPv6) are allowed.
  • Contacted the CDN provider, but they claim everything is configured correctly.
  • Ran multiple geolocation tests on my server’s IP and found some discrepancies across databases.
  • Tested network connectivity with tools like MTR, which shows consistent packet loss in certain regions.
