For people who might be interested to join in online for the first time - what communication channel/platform should we direct them and in which order? github? then matrix? (I love this forum, but fear it is not going to be used much in real-time)

Short update – although the hackathon has finished, we are still working on the report, and it will take us a few more days to finish it…

This event not only fueled my passion but also opened doors and provided invaluable information and contacts that I can apply in my work at a Dutch ‘woningbouwcorporatie’. Amid the ongoing environmental challenges, connecting with such a diverse and passionate group at the hackathon was incredibly uplifting. These collaborations are essential for driving innovation and developing sustainable solutions that address the challenges we face today. I sincerely hope this is just the beginning of many more green tech hackathons to come. The momentum and enthusiasm demonstrated are exactly what we need to push forward towards a greener, more sustainable future. A big thank you to RIPE for organizing such a transformative event!

Hi @BECHA thanks for sharing such great hackathon material! I’ve been reviewing them, and I really liked the hackathon introduction slides; they’re very detailed.

Will the hackathon be in Madrid this year? [IETF | IETF 123 Madrid](https://www.ietf.org/meeting/123/)

I’d like to participate, if possible in person (I currently live in Madrid). I assume all interaction will be in English. In that case, my only option is to use my phone to translate so I can communicate 🤣

Are there any events leading up to the hackathon?

Will you be posting on this forum related to the hackathon?
