# Download RIPE database

Hello

According to the FAQ, the DB it should be available to the public:

But I can’t download the database from ftp://ftp.ripe.net/ripe/dbase/ripe.db.gz as anonymous user.

How can I get it?

The RIPE database download was not accessible due to a bug, which has now been fixed. We were reviewing file access permissions on all database files but were overzealous in this case.
